Hello from Ernestine. In my family we eat three meals a day and at each meal we always have rice. I am the one who does the shopping and prepares the food. For example, yesterday for lunch we ate rice with greens and for dinner we had rice with sausage. My family's favorite food is zebu meat (beef) with greens.

Hello, my name is Ernestine. I am 18 years old and I am not married. I have a boy aged 2. I went to school through 7th grade. Now, my business is selling and I would like to use my loan to increase my business. My dream is to have a better life than now. I want to succeed in order so that the father of my child will be ashamed to have left me and I want my son to grow up and have the life that he deserves.

Hello! It's me, Tanteliniaina. I don't have children who go to school because they are still little so I don't have the worries of those expenses yet. But I do know that all parents who have school age children worry because the cost of schooling increases each year. I find this normal because the price of everything increases each year. That is normal for life in Madagascar where everything is expensive.

Hello! It's me, Tanteliniaina. My business is going well at this time even though I have changed what I am doing because since there is no school, I am not able to sell snacks. Thus, I sell other things. For the vacation, my children are going to spend their time playing like the other children do and helping me with my business. For Independence Day, we celebrated as a family. We all ate together and went to the festivities that the town had organized.

Hello! It's me, Tanteliniaina. The month of June is the last month that business goes well because it is the end of the harvest. After Indpendence Day, the people begin the period of planting and they don't have as much money. Therefore, they spend less, except for seeds. For me, I will celebrate Independence Day just like all the other holidays. We will eat good things and the children will wear good clothes. But I will not spend too much on one day.
