Charcoal Vendor
FundedMy name is Rasabotsy Esther. I am 53 years old and I have 2 children, aged 16 and 12. I studied until the 7th grade and I would like to use this loan to buy and sell charcoal. Because of recent shortages, this is a very good business right now.

Hello from Rasabotsy Esther. In my family we eat rice three times a day and I am the one who always buys and prepares the food. For example, yesterday for breakfast we had rice with small pieces of fried beef and for lunch we had rice with greens and pistachios. For dinner, we ate the same thing as for lunch. My family's favorite food is rice with fish sauce and pineapple for dessert.

Hello! It's me Ratsabotsy. The disease that my family has often is diarrhea. The climate here is different because Ambalavao has no more forest because of bushfires and it has an impact on the climate which leads to the problem of a lack of water. I rather like the winter season because it is the richest season here. Water and food are abundant. People have a lot of money to spend business does well. Right now it is the rainy season, but that does not affect my business because people always need charcoal.

Hello! It's me, Rasabotsy. I have two children who go to school. One is in primary school and the other in high school. I have already saved money for them to return to school and I think I have enough to pay their school entry fees and to be their supplies even though the school fees have increased. I find that each year the costs become more and more expensive. Sometimes that poses a problem for parents because they must spend more than they planned for. But it is necessary to sacrifice so that our children will have a good future.

Hello! It's me, Ratsabotsy. My little grocery story continues to do well because I sell the things that people need each day. For the vacation, my children are going to spend their time playing and watching the television. For Independence Day, we ate different things than usual. We ate together will all the family at lunch time. In the morning we went to the stadium to watch the parade and listen to the speeches, and in the afternoon the children went to the festivities that the town had organized.

Hello! It's me, Ratsabhotsy. My little food shop is going well and I don't think that this will change because even though this is the end of the harvest, I sell the things the people need on a daily basis. For me, Independence Day is a very big celebration in the Betsileo region because not only does it celebrate our independence but also it is the end of the harvest, so everybody has the means to celebrate it.
