Hello from Voangilalao. In my family we eat rice three times a day and after each meal, we always have a cup of coffee. For example, yesterday for breakfast we had rice with a cup of coffee. For lunch we had rice with zebu meat (beef) and potatoes, and for dinner we had the same thing. The food that my family likes the most is rice with fish sauce and fruit for dessert.

Hello, it's me, Julienne. The illness that my family has most often is malaria and the flu. The climate of Ambalavao is different than other places because of our geographic location and that plays a big role in our climate. For me, it is the rainy season that I like the best because there is enough water - during other times of the year, we are lacking in water. At the present time, it is the rainy period and water is abundant, so we do not have to get up early and walk many kilometers to get water. There is no problem with my business since charcoal is something that people need every day.

Hello! It’s Lalao; I wake up at 5am to ftch water and then I make breakfast and clean the house. After breakfast I go to the market to buy lunch and when I get back I take out the charcoal to sell. I sell charcoal throughout the afernoon and we ear dinner at 7pm and go to sleep after eating. Sundays are also like this.

Hello, it's me, Julienne. I have three children who still go to school and they are all in the primary school. For me, the return to school is something I always prepare for ahead of time so I do not have a reason to complain because we already know that the cost goes up each year. It is enough just to plan in advance. It does no good to complain. Parents need to sacrifice for the future of their children.

Hello! It's me, Razafinimanana. My business continues to do well at this time. For the vacation, my children are going to help me with sales and in getting things ready to sell as well as with household chores. For the celebration of Independence Day, we did things that we don't normally do. We ate chicken and in the morning we went to he stadium to watch the parade. In the afternoon we attended the festivites that the town had organized. For lunch, our extended family all ate together.

Hello! It's me, Razafinimanana. Business is going well up until this time, but after our Independence Day this is going to change because the people begin to be busy with planting again. For me this national holiday is a big holiday because it is a celebration for all the Malagasy people and it deserves to be celebrated, but without spending too much money. It is necessary to always think about business and the reimbursement of the loan.
